The company was founded by Murray Menkes and it is still a privately owned development. As of today, the company ran by Alan Menkes and his two brothers. One of the first signature projects with more than 21 commercial and residential projects built by Menkes Developments in the North York City Centre. Mobilio Condos and Townhomes in Vaughan Ontario were a great success as well. 

In 2019 Menkes Development announced the partnership with another real estate investment and development company QuadReal Property Group. Together they are releasing another vibrant project – Grand Festival Condos in Vaughan South VMC. Release date of the project should be in April 2021.
